WEAVERCOOKE has recently completed renovations to the Carolina Meadows dining area. The dining room, originally built in 1985, had a complete renovation with additional formal, private, and casual dining added.
The dining area needed to remain open during construction, so our team completed the project in several phases. One half of the kitchen and dining area continued normal operations while the other half was undergoing renovations. Once that section was fully complete and functional, residents immediately began using the new area while renovations continued in the other section.
WEAVERCOOKE made extensive use of BIM and VICO in the preliminary work involved with this project. Using BIM, we were able to show residents every precaution that would be used to ensure that we minimize the interference of construction on their daily lives.
