Annual Company Meeting (May 2017) – Why We Do What We Do

Our Annual Company Meeting was held at Revolution Mill on May 19th. The focus and theme of this year’s meeting was on our culture and goals as an organization. We were excited to welcome several new folks onto our team, including five summer interns, who started just before the annual meeting.

Many of our long-time employees received Service Awards, including James Ferguson, who has been with WEAVERCOOKE for forty years. There were also awards for the people best utilizing Procore and The Last Planner system.

Each of the Project Managers gave a presentation on one of their jobs, including a masterfully directed video by Brian Conrad of his work at Deacon Place, which can be found here.

Donations of canned goods were collected from employees at the meeting and donated to Greensboro Urban Ministries.

Below is a video that gives an overview of the meeting as a whole. We appreciate everyone who was able to attend, and to those who were manning the job sites so that others could come. It was an excellent event, and we look forward to many more.
