Weaver Cooke Construction completed our new corporate headquarters building. The 15,464 square foot building was the first commecial building in the Triad to achieve a LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

Sustainable design and construction features include:

• Extensive use of daylighting through use of high efficiency glass and light shelves
• Occupant controls for electric lighting levels in each office
• Low emitting materials
• Local and regional materials
• Building materials with recycled content
• Use of Certified Wood (wood that meets Forest Stewardship Council guidelines)
• Membrane roof with high Solar Reflectance Index to reduce heat island effect
• Recycling of construction debris
• Water use reduction fixtures such as sensor controlled lavatory, dual flush toilets and waterless urinals.
